I am a PhD candidate at the Complexity Science Hub, focusing on migrant networks and refugee stability. My research aims to uncover the driving factors behind migration and evaluate its effects on the social, economic, and political structures of both origin and destination countries.
I also apply network theory, statistical physics, and data science methods to offer insights that can guide policy-making and promote effective solutions to migration and refugee-related challenges.
Previously, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Cairo University and a master’s degree in the Physics of Complex Systems from the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems in Spain. My master’s thesis investigated the economic impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic through network science.
In addition to my research, I have experience in business and organizational development
